MAPOLY REFUTES FAKE NEWS OF DRAMA AS MAUSTECH VC, MAPOLY RECTOR CLASH OVER OFFICE OWNERSHIP

The attention of the Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has been drawn to a publication by Platform Times captioned: “Drama as MAUSTECH VC, MAPOLY Rector clash over Office Ownership” and dated 12th April, 2019.

 The Platform Times, through its online medium, falsely alleged that there was a clash between the Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta and the Vice-Chancellor of Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology, Abeokuta.
It should be noted that, the Vice–Chancellor was on personal courtesy visit to the Rector, which was recorded to be a very robust and camaraderie meeting between the duo.

The Registrar, who was also present, described the meeting as meeting of friends.

The news fabricated by mischief-makers and published with highest level of irresponsibility and bizarre was aimed at maligning the good name of the Polytechnic. 

The Management hereby emphatically debunks such obnoxious news and has resolved to take necessary legal actions in other to deal with the publisher of the false news aimed at portraying the Polytechnic in bad light which has been the work of some mushroom online medium of late.

Breaking: MAPOLY mgt to announce exam date 11th March

The management of Moshood Abiola polytechnic is set to announce the much awaited date for the 2017/18 second semester examination. The Rector, Dr. Samson Odedina gave this assurance while addressing student leaders today at stakeholders meeting in MAPOLY. The rector said he would have preferred to announce the examination date today but that will amount to preempting the academic board.. The meeting was convened by the student union led by Com. PENALTY FEE ON LATE PAYMENT

There is no penalty fee yet, says MAPOLY Mgt The management of Moshood polytechnic (MAPOLY) Abeokuta has said that the institution is yet to add a penalty fee to late payment.  This is in reaction to a rumour making rounds via social media on addition of penalty fee. The statement read, "Late payment of school fee has now attracted penalty fee of 10,000 for returning students." Debunking the rumour, the school PRO, Yemi Ajibola who spoke exclusively to Press Club MAPOLY correspondent said that the management is yet to add any penalty. He said students encounter difficulties on the portal due to its upgrade to 2018/19 session.
